Thank you for expressing interest in the Ideas into Action Programme.

We have learned from delivering many entrepreneurship and leadership training programmes that there are a core set of habits that lead to successful participation in such programmes.

These habits and commitments guarantee the best use of both your time and the time of our team.

This letter explains the mutual commitment that the Ideas into Action partners and you. Please note that you can only participate in the programme if you agree and confirm this in writing in reply to your programme fellowship offer email.

My commitment to Ideas into Action.

You accept the invitation to participate in the Ideas into Action programme which runs from November 2023 to June 2024. This programme is focused on giving you an opportunity to launch and grow your social business or nonprofit. The programme will give you access to social enterprise and nonprofit specific group workshops, a coach and 5 coaching sessions and advice for your social venture at the point of need through dedicated SPARK officers. Recognising this, for the full duration of the programme, if you accept you commit to:

  1. … attend all Ideas into Action group workshops consistently and on time. If you are unable to attend a group workshop, you commit to watching the recording and carry out activities presented in the workshop on your own, and to then discuss your outputs with your Ideas into Action Coach or SPARK Officer.
  2. … attend all Coaching and SPARK advice sessions that you book on time.
  3. completing ToDo’s - agreed with your Coach - between your coaching sessions
  4. communicating with your Ideas into Action team on a regular basis through your WhatsApp group (which includes your Coach and representatives of the SPARK Advice team).
  5. assist the programme team in reporting on the programme by participating in surveys and interviews where required.
  6. I recognise that advice received through Ideas into Action, by the programme team and its community of supporters (advisors, guest presenters, partner organisations, etc.) is given with an intention to move my social business forward but that it does not constitute legal advice. I understand that the Ideas into Action partners cannot be held liable for any advice received regardless of outcome.
  7. Once I graduate, I will be an actively engaged member of the Ideas into Action Alumni community in the future, sharing information, knowledge, best practices and updates in support of mutual success.
